two easy ways to create a presentation

Option 1: use pre-recorded audio

prepare presentation and record audio

The presenter prepares the presentation with visual slides as normal. When creating slides for enrich, create square slides rather than landscape slides. The audio is recorded on a suitable device using widely available audio software. Bear in mind that it may be easier to record the presentation in a number of smaller audio files and then combine them into a single audio file.

create an enrich project

The presenter creates an enrich project for the presentation either by: a) using a rss podcast feed (if the audio has been uploaded to a podcast host), or b) using the url of the audio file (if the audio has been uploaded to a cloud storage service that allows streaming, like Soundcloud), or c) uploading the presentation’s audio from the desktop to enrich cloud storage.

import the presentation’s slides

To import all the slides from a Microsoft PowerPoint or Google sheets presentation, simply export all the slides to individual pdf files, and then import the slides into the staging area of the enrich creator using the enrich ‘batch import’ functionality.

edit and link slides to audio

Presenters can create individual slides using enrich’s templates that include captions, hyperlink buttons, injecting separate audio files and videos, and slides can stored in the presenter’s own library of templates. The slides are then linked to presentation’s audio as required.

Option 2: record separate audio for each slide

prepare presentation

The presenter prepares the presentation with visual slides as normal. When creating slides for enrich, create square slides rather than landscape slides.

create an enrich project

The presenter creates an enrich project for the presentation by uploading a blank audio from the desktop into enrich cloud storage.

import the presentation’s slides

The presenter imports the presentation’s slides. To do this, the presenter first exports all the presentation’s slides to individual pdf files (PPT – use the file/export function; Google Sheets, upload Slides Toolbox Add-on and use Export Tools), and then imports the individual slides into the resource area using the enrich ‘batch import’ function.

edit and link slides to audio

Presenters can create individual slides using enrich’s templates that include captions, hyperlink buttons, injecting separate audio files and videos, and slides can stored in the presenter’s own library of templates. The slides are then linked to presentation’s audio as required.

record audio for each slide

Presenters records the audio for each slide; either using widely available audio software, or direct into enrich (note that the enrich recording function acts as a voice note and does not have edit functions).

Presenters can create and add the slides themselves, or they can appoint a collaborator to add the slides on their behalf.
